MOSCOW, Dec 26 (Reuters) – Russian wheat costs fell final week following a weaker rouble foreign money RU/RUB and excessive home provide amid a report crop, analysts stated on Monday, including that the tempo of sea transport had picked up after storms.

Costs for Russian wheat with 12.5% protein content material and for provide from Black Sea ports in January have been at $307 a tonne free on board (FOB) on Friday night, down $5 from every week earlier, the IKAR agriculture consultancy stated in a word.

Russian grain exports rose to 1.1 million tonnes final week from 840,000 tonnes in earlier week because the climate within the Black Sea improved after storms, one other consultancy Sovecon stated, citing port information.

Wheat costs for quick supply fell by $1 to $307-311 per tonne, it added.

Russia’s agriculture ministry has already purchased 3.0 million tonnes of grain from the home marketplace for the state stockpile within the present July-June season, Sovecon added.

Rains arrived to a part of Russia’s southern area, a serious winter grain producer, final week and extra precipitation is anticipated this week, Sovecon stated, signalling bettering circumstances for the sowings after dry climate.
